Teen Wolf & Teen Wolf Too collector editions hit Blu-ray this summer

I am going to be a bit truthful here and say that I have never been a HUGE fan of the TEEN WOLF movies. I like the first one, for sure, but truthfully I have never even seen the second one. You know, the one that stars ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT's Jason Bateman (aka Michael Bluth).

Am I missing out on anything special by skipping TEEN WOLF TOO? Lemme know if you think so.

As a kid, I mostly enjoyed the first flick, although a lot of stuff went over my head. As I grew up I realized I had been missing out on about half of the film's jokes, and thus enjoyed it a bit more. However, the aspects I found fun as a kid wore off a bit in my adult viewings of the film. So it kind of all equaled itself out.

Anyhow, looks like Shout! Factory is releasing both TEEN WOLF and TEEN WOLF TOO on Blu-ray coming up soon here. And a few days ago they took to their Facebook page and released this bit of info:

***SURPRISE TITLE ANNOUNCEMENTS***

Return to the 80s once again with two comedy-horror hits we know you'll howl for. 1985's original TEEN WOLF (starring Michael J Fox) and its follow-up, 1987's TEEN WOLF TOO (starring Jason Bateman) will both be coming out later this Summer as Collector Editions!

No other details to report at this time but extras, newly-illustrated artwork, and specs are currently in the works and will be revealed at a later date.

I guess we'll have to take what we can get for now... which isn't much other than, "Hey, hey guys, look what we're planning to do. But that's cool. Thanks for the heads up, dudes. Just make sure to let us know when you know a bit more about the project.

Check out all this cool TEEN WOLF art I found!

I concur

Part "Too" is shite. I've tried on many occasions to watch it from start to finish and find myself turning it off halfway through.

I watched the first movie several times as a kid. It wasn't something I considered a favorite, but I enjoyed it. I've only seen the second one once, when it first came out on VHS. It was basically the same story except with a new actor as Stiles (which I hated), and Scott's cousin who was in college boxing instead of high school basketball.
