We last reported on veteran scream queen Danielle Harris' directorial debut AMONG FRIENDS late last year when it was announced that Grindstone Entertainment had picked up the rights to the horror-comedy with Lionsgate onboard to release the film, and today we have news on when you can finally check this badboy out as well as a brand new trailer for this twisted little tale. Read on!
Lionsgate has dated AMONG FRIENDS to hit DVD, digital download and VoD on August 27 2013. The film stars Harris as well as Christopher Backus, Jennifer Blanc, AJ Bowen and Harris' HATCHET III co-star Kane Hodder. Our own Jake Dee got to check out the film last year (you can check out his review right HERE) and described it as "fast, fun and pretty fucking ferocious". Nice!

Among Friends is a horror comedy about a dinner party gone wrong. Set against an 80s backdrop, good times take a dark turn when one in the group hijacks the evening in the name of integrity. Through an attempt to help the others come clean about secret betrayals against one another, it’s revealed who’s willing to cut through the bone to expose the truth.
