Updated! Very intense Gravity clips detach you in outer space

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

One of the most promising movies teased at Comic-Con last week was Warner Bros.’ GRAVITY, an intense, thrilling sci-fi film from Alfonso Cuaron starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney (check out the panel coverage HERE). The footage shown was breathtaking, and while we can’t share those clips right now, we can give you a little taste with the below video, titled “Detached.”

This should give you a glimmer of an idea of just how potentially awesome Cuaron’s movie is going to be.

UPDATE: Another new clip/trailer has arrived online; we’ve included it below.

Sandra Bullock plays Dr. Ryan Stone, a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky [George Clooney] in command of his last flight before retiring. But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone–tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness.

GRAVITY lifts off on October 4th.
