1st Juno trailer

Director Jason Reitman is really starting to make a name for himself. His debut feature, THANK YOU FOR SMOKING, was an absolute comedy gem deserving of all the accolades it received and, proving he’s no one-hit wonder, his follow-up, JUNO, is garnering the exact same critical praise. Coming from stripper-turned-screenwriter Diablo Cody, the film is a simple story about the consequences of the titular teenage girl’s unexpected pregnancy. However, not only is it apparently uproariously funny in a smart way but indie darling Ellen Page apparently turns in a career-defining performance. There aren’t any necessarily laugh out loud moments in the first trailer that Moviefone recently premiered (except maybe that last line) but there’s certainly a lot of promise. If you’re looking for exceptionally funny, smart comedy with lots of heart, this may just be it. Check out the trailer over HERE. The film opens December 14th in limited release.
