3 mins of Watchmen

Feb. 24, 2009by: Omar Aviles

<a href=WATCHMEN" />

Your WATCHMEN update for the hour is a three minute clip, introduced by director Zack Snyder, showing us that scene which is currently playing in every single TV spot damn near every half-hour where we hear unstable former superhero Rorschach say "The world will blah, blah, blah…and I'll say…no". And just to remind you for the five thousandth time, the flick will be released March 6th. We'll be back with an update within the hour. *Sigh*

Extra Tidbit: Wow, there's a ton of "Watchmen" merchandise.

Crap Crap Crap

What is this crap. Obviously hollywood is desperate to make stuff. 10 years ago this shit would have gone in the garbage along with "Sex and the City". Anyone who thinks this is awsome needs to go and get a girlfriend and stop playing with toys like a loser. Watchmen, may as well have called it "guy with deep voice pretending to be cool with a towel over his face"

This movie looked like crap from the start. Unless you get suckered easily by special effects. I hope it bombs at the box office, such disrespect to the awesome graphic novel.

Paulie

They cut the 'whores' out of whores and politicians line as well so I think its just been edited for this clip.

Did anyone else find Rorschach a little hard to understand? Maybe it'll get better when you're in the movie theatre with the enhanced sound but some just small samples, Rorschach's narration is pretty darn muffled.

If a three minute clip can have me this excited, I can't imagine what seeing the whole film is going to do for me. I'm so pumped!

Rorschach's voice succeeds where Bale's Batman voice failed. Good stuff.

I've been pretty iffy about this movie, but this clip was great. The music was dead on perfect.

Rorschach Rocks

F**K I cant wait to see this movie. I had never heard of it until it was mentioned that a movie was being made called Watchmen based on a comic/ Graphic Novel and it pricked my ears. Couldn't help but do the noise made famous by Tim The Toolman Taylor (ahhugh). After seeing this I just cant wait till next week. "AHHHH My kingdom for a time machine"

If I could judge it based strictly on those clips I'd say that Snyder hit the tone and mood on the head. Still not sure how they'll pull this one off in it's entirety though. I really do want to like it.

The comic book: "The first Silk Spectre is a bloated, aging whore, dying in a californian rest resort."

The movie: "The first Silk Spectre is dying in a californian rest resort."

Just one example among others. This is R rated. Not PG-13. How inconsistent is this movie?

Great clips. It really looks like Snyder got it right.
