Amy is in Doubt
Jun. 22, 2007
Impossibly adorable, heart-stoppingly sexy and extremely talented actress Amy Adams is in talks to join Meryl Streep and Phillip Seymour Hoffman in the drama DOUBT, John Patrick Shanley's feature adaptation of his own play of the same name. In it, she'll play the "pivotal" role of a nun caught in the middle of a tussle in which a Bronx Catholic school principal (Streep) accuses a well-liked priest (Hoffman) of being a pedophile. Shanley is directing from his own script. Production is scheduled to start in December. Adams can next be heard voicing the animated love interest of a super-powered pup in UNDERDOG, can be seen as an animated princess turned real life New York wanderer in ENCHANTED and can be seen alongside Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts in CHARLIE WILSON'S WAR.
||Adams used to work at "Hooters".
