“Personally, having just recently rewatched them, I cannot fathom how it would make for a better viewing experience, aside from a novelty factor. Both films have very clear endings, with Vol. 1 providing a great climax, ending, then cliffhanger, and Vol. 2 a more conclusive, and emotional ending.
Trying to imagine these movies edited together, even rearranging chapters, I can’t see how it would work.”
