     ASTRO BOY banner

I haven't been able to build real excitement toward the CG adaptation of ASTRO BOY, but I'll admit it looks entertaining. Just nowhere near as appealing as if it had been a Pixar film.

For those who do look forward to it, here's one more little treat, a clip featuring the titular robot forced to go Maximus on some poor Samurai robot's butt.

That clip's right down here, while the film opens in theaters one week before Halloween.

Extra Tidbit: I can't for the life of me remember the name of that Spartan warrior-looking robot he was always fighting in the 80s show... Anybody knows?

i admit, i dont like this line at all, what does Pixar have to do with anything. an animation film isnt doomed to hell because it wasnt made by Pixar. we like Pixar because they dont just give us the stupid talking animal children's movies that people expect, they create a great story, but...

I think it was Apollo (or some other Greek god.) Wasn't he meant to be Astro Boy's brother (or half brother)? Kinda like Lore was to Data? (Yes, I am that geeky)
