Batman v Superman will live up to its title; new footage coming “very soon”

Although the two mighty heroes will likely be facing off in the upcoming film, it'd be foolish to consider that Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill) won't exit BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE on somewhat more friendly terms; however, Atlas Entertainment President and producer Charles Roven has assured everyone that BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE will definitely live up to its name. Superheroic battles galore.

The Atlas Entertainment President (one of the several production companies behind the film) spoke with Collider recently and related that he can't wait for everyone to see the film.

You will definitely understand when you see the movie why we call it Batman v Superman… I’m excited to have people see it. I think it’s really a wonderful film. I think Zack [Snyder]’s done an amazing job, all of the actors who are in it, we were so lucky. Just think about the cast that we have, from Ben [Affleck] to Henry Cavill, to Amy [Adams] to Jesse [Eisenberg] to Jeremy [Irons] to Larry [Lawrence] Fishburne. Just amazing, and they all really bring it. Really great. Very happy.

Given the film's large number of effects shots, which according to Roven are numbering around 1500, post-production on BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE is still ongoing which is why we haven't seen all that much footage from the film lately. However, Roven seems confident that we'll be seeing some new footage "very soon".

Honestly, you’re going be seeing something very soon… I don’t know how you define soon but certainly before the end of the year, how about that?

BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE will be released on March 25, 2016.
