BS Batman rumors

I tried to hold out as long as I could, thinking this obviously bullshit rumor about Eddie Murphy and Shia LaBeouf starring in the next Batman movie would just fizzle out. But nothing Batman ever seems to fizzle out no matter how ridiculous it is. So yes, we have heard the rumors posted in a British tabloid about Eddie Murphy starring as The Riddler and Shia starring as Robin. Yea, I laughed when I read it so if that was the objective, then kudos. Sadly though, the joke is getting less and less funny each time I hear it. Rest assured Bat-friends, there is nothing going on with the new Batman movie at this point and certainly nothing to do with Eddie Murphy, Shia LaBeouf or Rachel Weisz. Like he did after BATMAN BEGINS, expect Nolan to direct a non-Batman movie in between THE DARK KNIGHT and whatever the third Batman movie would be. And this is assuming he decides he even wants to do another Batman movie. I know we’re all really excited about THE DARK KNIGHT and Batman but let’s just agree we’ll read “The Dark Knight Returns” again or rewatch THE DARK KNIGHT on Blu-ray instead of paying these lies any more attention than they’re worth.
