Gal Gadot & Chris Pine are ready for action in the new Wonder Woman poster

05.11.2017

Before long, it will finally be time for DC Comic's legendary warrior princess to punch, truth lasso, and shield slash her way onto the big screen in Patty Jenkin's WONDER WOMAN! Personally, my body is more than ready for Gal Gadot to step into the DCEU in her first solo film, and show the world that comic-to-film blockbusters are simply not meant to remain a boys club anymore.

This afternoon, Warner Bros. has shared a bold and beautiful new poster featuring Wonder Woman (Gadot) and Steve Trevor (Pine) looking more than ready to whoop some highly decorated soldier ass in the name of justice and liberty for all.

Check out the new poster below:

In the film, Patty Jenkins will take viewers back to before Diana earned the name Wonder Woman, princess of the Amazons, trained warrior. All is well in the mythical land of Themyscira, until a pilot crashes in nearby waters and tells of a conflict that's brewing in the outside world. With the passion to fight for what is right, Diana leaves home to fight a war to end all wars, all while discovering her full powers and true destiny.

WONDER WOMAN stars Gal Gadot, Robin Wright, Chris Pine, David Thewlis, Connie Nielsen, Elena Anaya, Lucy Davis, and more! Be sure to get your asses out there and fill those theater seats for when WONDER WOMAN arrives in cinemas on June 2, 2017.

The trailers look good, but that poster... I mean why do they even need to put Chris Pine's face in the background? Anyone who knows even a slightest bit of graphic design would see that his image contradict the whole composition.
