INT: Ethan Suplee

Ethan Suplee, although best known for his lovable dimwit on the NBC series “My Name is Earl”, has a resume that includes such films as AMERICAN HISTORY X, BLOW, REMEMBER THE TITANS and COLD MOUNTAIN. Yet he has a wonderfully rich comic streak going with “Earl and his work in his latest film, MR. WOODCOCK, as Seann William Scott’s loveable dimwit buddy. He has an extremely likable presence even when he plays someone not so nice.

When I spoke to Ethan recently at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills, I found him to be very soft-spoken. He is not one to get crazy on camera, or joke around, but he is serious about his work. He is also quite serious about his family, and their importance in his life. He certainly is not dim in any way, shape or form. He seems to be a very bright guy that appreciates the experience life has offered him. But don’ t worry, you will be able to see his dimwit side again when MR. WOODCOCK opens this Friday at a theatre near you.
