Remember the good ole days when Anne Hathaway was so desperate to break out of the PRINCESS DIARIES mold that she was appearing on red carpets in see thru shirts and starring in terrible movies just for the nude scenes? Now we get dramas about the pharmaceutical industry with Jake Gyllenhaal. Sigh…

Hathaway and Gyllenhaal, who famously played an unhappy married couple in BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN, will reteam for the upcoming Ed Zwick drama LOVE AND OTHER DRUGS. In the film, Gyllenhaal will play a salesman for a major drug company who begins a romantic relationship with a woman with Parkinson’s (Hathaway) that he meets on a sales call. Something presumably ensues though I have no idea what. This line scares me though: “Their love story plays out in the political and social context of the time.” Fucking GROAN.
