Michael Moore's untitled documentary about the economic downfall is untitled no more. The film will be called CAPITALISM: A LOVE STORY, Moore's tongue-in-cheek way of implying that for many Americans, capitalism has been anyting but....a love story. Man he's clever! Rumoured titles included "Save The CEO's" and "Bailout" but I think this one works just fine, even if it doesn't roll off the tongue like say, ROGER AND ME. CAPITALISM: A LOVE STORY will open on October 2nd 2009, a year and a day after the United States Senate voted to approve the $700 billion bailout that Michael Moore has referred to as “the biggest robbery in the history of this country”. I still think it's when The Dream Team didn't win the gold in Athens, but I guess that's why he's a millionaire, and I'm kind of not.

Moore is a fat lying a-hole that's duped millions into believing all of his crap. Anyone that thinks this guy is telling the truth needs to remove their head from the their sphincter.

I've enjoyed most of Moore's previous ventures. Hopefully this lives up to Bowling for Columbine's or Sicko's standards. I'll be there.

once again, people can't think anything through. So because he is going to take on the capitalist model we've been using that has FAILED us miserably, he should give his proceeds to charity or not charge for the movie at all? Are all of you stupid enough to think that he is advoating the dissolution of capitalism? I haven't seen it (of course) but what I can tell you is that he is going to...

I haven't seen it (of course) but what I can tell you is that he is going to criticize the unregulated greed (and theft) that has been happening on Wall Street to all of our great detriment. He will also criticize how the $700 billion was used, because it was mostly handed over to the people who caused this whole mess without holding them accountable for how they use it.



Until people in this country learn to see issues for the complex problems they are, we will continue to be polarized and spiteful.

Time for Moore to get topical again. I still don't understand why among his many detractors there is so much unbridled, passionate hate for the man. He's outspoken, and I don't always agree with him, and he makes more money than any other documentarian out there. But I don't see us holding anyone else accountable for that, unless they are talentless. And in fairness, he knows how to make people...

I liked Bowling for Columbine but surely this is way to obvious a film to make for Moore.

I'm down for another Moore outing. I've enjoyed all of his movies so far. Ditto on the Extra Tidbit! Moore can thank capitalism for his insane box office grosses.
