More images from Steven Spielberg's Tintin film find their way online

Nov. 8, 2010by: George Merchan

A few more images from Empire Magazine's spread of Steven Spielberg's upcoming THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN: THE SECRET OF THE UNICORN have appeared online, courtesy of Brazilian website Omelete. For the first time, you can check out 'Thompson' (Simon Pegg) and 'Thomson' (Nick Frost) along with thief 'Silk' (Toby Jones). Good images I think, especially since they seem to depict a bit more caricature in the art style than the shots seen last week.

THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN: THE SECRET OF THE UNICORN, starring Jamie Bell, Daniel Craig, Andy Serkis, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Gad Elmaleh, Toby Jones, and Mackenzie Crook, opens December 28, 2011.

Synopsis: Tintin and his friends discover directions to a sunken ship commanded by Capt. Haddock's ancestor and go off on a treasure hunt.

Extra Tidbit: Trailer please!

THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN: THE SECRET OF THE UNICORN

I had no idea that Frost & Pegg were doing this. I was always planning on seeing this, but with that news, and these new shots, my interest just went up big time.

Oh, and it's still got one of the gayest titles ever. Say it with a high pitched British accent for a laugh.

I think the new pics look great! But I'm very concerned about the use of motion capture! Being an animator myself, I fear this will be another Zemeckis wax-cabinet movie, but I'll await the trailer until final judgement!

Wow...

This looks unreal. This is coming from someone who doesn't get hyped solely on visuals.

This can not come quick enough (giggity). I looked for the Empire mag but B&N hasn't put out the new one yet.

The faces look so bizarre in this real world setting. Time for a new Dick Tracy film? I can't wait to see this!

These images look great, and I'm sure Spielberg will give us an awesome movie, but does anyone else think this might not do very well at the box office? Especially when compared to how much money these movies are costing...

I wasn't a fan of Tin Tin growing up but these images do look good. I love Spielberg, so I'm happy this is looking good so far.
