Neveldine, Taylor have Cash. And Money. And Dollars.

The filmmaking team of Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor (who work under the not-so-creative moniker of Neveldine/Taylor) had an interesting 2009. They directed the guilty pleasure CRANK HIGH VOLTAGE, directed a candidate for one of the worst films of the year in GAMER and were let go from a potential gig directing JONAH HEX. But that’s not slowing the boys down. They’re currently shopping their next project, a spec script titled CASH MONEY DOLLARS, all around town.

All we know about the film at this point is the logline – An unlikely trio – shady LA private dick, kick-ass NY female Secret Service agent, and African-American Texas Ranger – team up to stop a new wave of terrorist operations and save America.. Now I won’t get into the plot holes I’m already seeing in a one sentence logline because Neveldine/Taylor have never really operated in a world of intense realism. Lorenzo di Bonaventura (GI JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA) is attached to produce the film, which is going out to all the major studios (but strangely not Lionsgate where Neveldine/Taylor have directed all three of their films).
