I know everyone is really excited for DEADPOOL, but the February release I'm most excited to see is definitely TRIPLE 9. The intense-looking crime thriller comes from THE PROPOSITION and THE ROAD director John Hillcoat, and has an absolutely amazing cast that includes Casey Affleck, Woody Harrelson, Kate Winslet, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Aaron Paul, Anthony Mackie, Norman Reedus, Gal Gadot and Clifton Collins Jr.

Open Road has released six new character posters for the upcoming film to go along with the Paul one we brought you last week, featuring Affleck, Harrelson, Winslet, Ejiofor, Mackie and Reedus.

Check 'em out:

Oh, and there's also the exclusive one we debuted last week of Jesse Pinkman Aaron Paul from the film...

Synopsis:

In TRIPLE 9, a crew of dirty cops is blackmailed by the Russian mob to execute a virtually impossible heist. The only way to pull it off is to manufacture a 999, police code for “officer down”. Their plan is turned upside down when the unsuspecting rookie they set up to die foils the attack, triggering a breakneck, action-packed finale filled with double-crosses, greed and revenge.

While some feel the trailers have revealed a little too much of the movie, I have a feeling that it will have plenty of twists and turns in store for us.

TRIPLE 9 will be in theaters on February 26, 2016.

I won't deny that the first teaser was the best, but I think all the trailers were good. If a major plot point is that one cop is also in on a bank heist, what's the harm in letting people know that? If it's meant to be a surprise, then they screwed up. Besides, I still don't know much about how Ejiofor, Reedus, and Paul fit into things other than Ejiofor presumably dating the sister of an Israeli gangster. Plus, it reminds me of a crime epic like Heat or a Jean-Pierre Melville movie, instead

I just think they could have not shown any of that story and the trailers just showed the amazing Actors who are in their prime, and crew, and just shown the action beats and we have no idea what this is but an action movie that looks like it has cops and a heist.

Remember The Town? When that movie came out someone was complaining that the trailer spoiled it because we found out Ben Affleck was part of the robbers who kidnapped Rebecca Hall. That fact is revealed in the first few minutes of the movie, and isn't meant to be a twist, nor does it diminish the movie one bit to know that in advance. But then again, these gritty action dramas are my thing. Plus, this looks like a bit of an ensemble piece.

Man. I'm also really excited about this, but yeah they showed to much with Mackie's character and it seems like it's just about the final 20 mins
