Pacific Rim stomps in with two new images and a UK TV spot

I'm not entirely sure that there is anyone out there who isn't completely sold on Guillermo del Toro's PACIFIC RIM yet. Undoubtedly one of this summers most anticipated films, we've seen enough marketing, images, trailers and more to convince any naysayer that del Toro and company have created something truly unique here, and today we have two new images from the film, as well as a new UK TV spot, to share with ya.

The images, courtesy Empire, are pretty exciting as they let us get up close and personal with the kaiju baddies from the flick. Check 'em out below.

When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes-a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi)-who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind’s last hope against the mounting apocalypse.

Below you will find the new UK TV spot for PACIFIC RIM, which premiered during this weekends episode of "Britain's Got Talent".

Charlie Hunnam, Charlie Day, Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi, Robert Kazinsky, Ron Perlman, Max Martini, Clifton Collins, Jr., Burn Gorman, Larry Joe Campbell, Diego Klattenhoff and Brad William Henke all star. PACIFIC RIM will be in theaters on July 12th — not much longer!
