E Online has an interview with Armie Hammer, the guy who is set to play Batman in JUSTICE LEAGUE: MORTAL if it ever gets made. And while it isn’t the worst thing I’ve ever read, it’s pretty close. An excerpt:
“”I would spend hours training with actual guns to prepare me for this stuff…Then I stood up, and they turned me around, and I faced a mirror—there was Batman. But then it hit me like a ton of bricks—it’s not just Batman, it’s me!”
Guns! Brilliant! Not only are we casting a 22 year old kid to play Bats, but we have him shooting guns in this thing! Remember at the beginning of THE DARK KNIGHT when the drug lord sees the silhouette of Bats in the car-park and he looses the dogs and then Scarecrow sees the gun in his hand and knows immediately “that’s not him”. Yeah, me too. Why don’t we just give him bat-nun-chucks or a bat-level-3-blizzard-cast or something.
