Evans is back helming along with Iko Uwais who reprises his role as, "a police officer with a terrific set of fighting skills. The sequel picks up right where the first film ends and follows the office as he goes undercover and infiltrates the ranks of a ruthless Jakarta crime syndicate in order to protect his family and uncover the corruption in his own police force."
The Indonesian title will be THE RAID 2: BERANDAL. The film is expected to shoot for 100 days. The first film definitely grabbed a ton of attention from moviegoers, and certainly around here at JoBlo.com. Evans had this to say to those who became fans of the first installment, “To all our fans thank you so much for your support. We can't wait to come back and show you what we have been working on. We'll be there in 2014 with a film bigger, better and bloodier!”

Nice
Am I the only one who finds The Raid to be a bit overrated?

Can I write my own Unpopular Opinion?
The fights just became so generic and boring. It was like too much of a good thing. It was like constant fucking without any foreplay or dirty talk. Just in and out in and out.
Sure it's good, but eventually it's just all the same and not once did I think the character showed any vulnerability, you just knew he was going to do the same stuff over and over again.
And I didnt find the fighting particularly beautiful to look

And I didnt find the fighting particularly beautiful to look at, brutal sure, but it lacked class and finesse.
