Timur out of Dusk?

I thought that Russian visionary director Timur Bekmambetov had always planned to finish the NIGHT WATCH trilogy. I thought those films, and that story, was his baby. Apparently not. In an exclusive interview with ShockTillYouDrop.com, Timur (f*ck writing his last name again) had this to day about DUSK WATCH, the third film:

“I don’t know. It depends on what will happen,” Bekmambetov told us in this exclusive interview when asked about his involvement with a third movie in the series. “I never read a script for ‘Dusk Watch’ and we’ll see what will happen. I’m kind of done with these kinds of movies. Not action movies, but conspiracy theory/action/tragedies.”

I’m betting all the Hollywood glam has gone to his head. He directed WANTED, and when you make a big budget movie with Angelina Joli, you don’t go back to making Russian movies, even if they were the kind of massive moneymakers that these films were. You guys can read the rest of the interview HERE.
