Two new mechs spotted on the set of Prometheus

We don't often get very much out of Ridley Scott's secretive PROMETHEUS, so we have to make do with what little we can uncover.

The intrepid spy team over at AlienPrequelNews.com (how many of these fan sites do you think are secretly viral operations of the studio to generate buzz?) dug up these shots of some rather cool looking futuristic vehicles from the set of PROMETHEUS.

You can see both mechs below, the first being some sort of transport that reminds me a bit of the Mako from Mass Effect, and the second? I can't quite figure out what it's supposed to be. A giant loader type vehicle? Something not fully assembled? See what you make of them below:

Extra Tidbit: Are you more excited for PROMETHEUS or a new BLADE RUNNER?

That second pic looks like it's the landing gear to a larger ship.

I'm more excited for Prometheus, simply because it comes out first and how good it turns out to be will determine whether I'm excited for Blade Runner or scared as f*ck.

et

Right now Prometheus, just because I know who's involved and somewhat what it's going to be. But I wouldn't count the new Blade Runner movie out just yet

This is going to be some sweet ass movie!! I wouldnt mind at all seeing some of the Cameron influence in this film either. Both men gave us 2 incredible movies from this Universe so why not.

I'd say the second pic is a landing strut for a huge ship, kind of like the one's they built for the Nostromo. Interesting how the vehicle in the first pic kinda looks like an APC from Aliens. I never thought Scott be referencing Cameron's additions to this universe.

I think this movie is going to be pretty phenomenal when all is said and done.

The second machine is a lifter.
So amped for this movie! I just wish we would get to see the Comic-Con footage already...
