The next few years will be absolutely bloated with fantasy films but if the recent trailer is any indicator, Jay Russell’s upcoming fantasy adventure THE WATER HORSE: LEGEND OF THE DEEP, which is based on the Dick King Smith children’s novel “The Water Horse”, may just strike a chord with audiences with good, old-fashioned storytelling. Imagine that. In it, a young boy discovers a mysterious egg that hatches a creature that everyone would eventually come to know as The Loch Ness Monster.
