Will Chris Pratt take the lead in Jurassic World?

This could put my need to see JURASSIC WORLD over the top.

Chris Pratt (PARKS & RECREATION, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY) is apparently circling a leading role in the trip back to Isla Nublar.

Now that filming GUARDIANS is done, all Pratt would need to do is juggle his time between PARKS & RECREATION. This is the role that was originally offered to Josh Brolin but I suppose he didn’t want it. There are still no details on the part.

If he signs on Pratt will star alongside Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson and Ty Simpkins. Irrfan Khan (LIFE OF PI) is also being sought after for a supporting role.

Director Colin Trevorrow and collaborator Derek Connolly have been writing the script which is under tight wraps. All we know is that he really, really doesn’t want to mess this one up. I saw his last effort, SAFETY NOT GUARANTEED and I think that it’s completely possible for him to make a good edition to the JURASSIC franchise.

I wonder what Pratt thought about possibly starring in JURASSIC WORLD…
