Mummy 3 update

Director Rob Cohen has offered a fresh update on the progress of this summer’s non-Jones adventure THE MUMMY: TOMB OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR.

The blog post included a small pic of the international poster for the flick, which is a shame since the image appears to be a slight improvement on what we’ve seen in the US. Cohen is putting the finishing touches on the score for the film, and says that movie’s final runtime will be 1h 54m and the trailer will be attached to WANTED on June 27th. The new MUMMY flick arrives August 1st, with Brendan Fraser now battling Jet Li and probably lots of gusting sand.

Cohen also posted a snap of one of his new triplets, and if they’re anything like daddy’s filmography (THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS, xXx and STEALTH), those kids are going to be excessively noisy and possibly jet-propelled. Check out the whole update RIGHT HERE!
