Ok this whole thing is a bad idea. This idea of making Dragon Ball into a movie is just a really injured idea. The graphics are going to be bad when "Goku" powers up or uses attacks, the characters are all wrong. It is going to be bad, but I will go and see it. Is goku going super saiyan 3 in this one. That would be intense...

But yeah, I think it's seeing Chow Yun-Fat for the first time, who's is a bad ass in my eyes. Now he doesn't look like Master Roshi at all...but there's something about him being in this movie that really intrigues me. |

I enjoyed watching the series when I was younger. It wasn't Shakespeare and it never really tried to be. I'm not expecting Oscar material when I go see a Dragonball movie. If they have some good fight scenes interspersed between cheesy dialog I figure that's par for the course. I'm just gonna have fun with it.
(Oh, and as for Roshi being a perv, well, check out his shirt in the bottom pic. All hope is not lost) |
