Bubbles to tell story of Michael Jackson’s chimp with stop-motion animation

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

I hope you’ve been wondering what life with Michael Jackson might have been like for his pet chimpanizee, because you’re going to find out pretty soon.

BUBBLES is happening, with Dan Harmon’s Starburns Industries, picking up Isaac Adamson’s 2015 Black List script that tells the story of Bubbles’ journey from the chimp’s perspective. The film will be made using stop-motion animation and follow Bubbles’ life with the King of Pop from the time of his adoption and ultimately becoming a part of Jackson’s inner circle as he battled various scandals along the way.

This film sounds truly weird enough that there is no way I am not going to see it if they are definitely going to make it. How could you not want to? Did I mention it’s a movie about Michael Jackson‘s chimpanzee Bubbles and his rise to and fall from grace as it corresponds to his owner? Call it a gut feeling, but this has the potential to be incredible.
