12 Hour Shift: Brea Grant’s bloody comedy with Angela Bettis now on Blu-ray

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Writer/director Brea Grant's bloody comedy 12 Hour Shift has been available to watch on VOD for a while now (in fact, you can watch it RIGHT HERE), but today it has also reached Blu-ray (buy it HERE) and DVD (buy it at THIS LINK).

Starring Angela Bettis, David Arquette, Chloe Farnworth, and wrestling legend Mick Foley, 12 Hour Shift follows

Nurse Mandy (Bettis), who is desperate to make it through her double shift without incident. This is particularly hard to do when you’re an addict and are also involved in a black market organ-trading scheme. When her hapless but dangerous cousin Regina (Farnworth) messes up a kidney delivery, chaos descends on the Arkansas hospital as Mandy and Regina frantically try to secure a replacement organ through any means necessary. Things grow increasingly complicated when injured convict Jefferson (Arquette) is brought in, and events spiral even further out of control.

Kit Williamson and Nikea Gamby-Turner are also in the cast. David Arquette produced the film with Christina Arquette, Jordan Wayne Long, Tara Perry, and composer Matt Glass.

12 Hour Shift is full of terrible people, and yet I found it to be very entertaining and amusing when I watched it a few months back. Grant is primarily known for her acting work (her credits include Rob Zombie's Halloween II), but she did a great job behind the camera on this one.
