Just the other day I told you all about the latest casting news for the TWILIGHT SAGA’s next installment: NEW MOON. Well today we’ve got a couple more names to throw at you! Though unlike the last update, these names are female!
And a couple fine females at that. First up we’ve got ShockTillYouDrop confirming that Rachelle Lefevre will be reprising her role as Victoria. They caught up with the actress at the BLOOD RIVER premiere and asked her what’s the deal with her involvement with NEW MOON:
“Victoria spends all of New Moon trying to get to Bella. As a result, she fights werewolves and has encounters…. [I’m] stoked to work with [director] Chris [Weitz]. It’s been different with him because he has tremendous respect for the fact that something has come before…”
Nothing groundbreaking but to read up on a bit more of what Lefevre (above) had to say you can head right over here. The next bit of casting news involves Canadian model Noot Seear. E! Online broke the good word that Seear has secured the coveted role of ‘Heidi.’ Who the hell is Heidi? Well she’s described as ‘a “fisher” who brings humans to the Volturi vampires to eat. She has “exceptional, unforgettable” beauty, which includes stunning legs, long hair and violet eyes.’ Alright then. A couple other actresses were rumored to be up for the role but it looks like Seear (below) beat them out. Apparently the character won’t even be a huge part of the film.
So there you have it. A nice little change from what we’re used to right? We’ve got a Canadian supermodel joining this TWILIGHT madness! Interesting. As always, make sure you keep it here for all your TWILIGHT SAGA news.
