I’m a big fan of Wes Craven’s. That’s no secret. But for some reason I just can’t get really stoked for his upcoming return to the director’s chair: 25/8. Don’t get me wrong… I’m looking forward to it but it’s just not jumping out at me. Wes Craven bringing us another slasher flick is all fine by me… but there’s no flash. And today’s update doesn’t help matters…
AITH reader Joey Monda pointed us towards Den of Geek, who recently had a chat with Craven. When asked about 25/8 Craven had some interesting things to say… like the fact that they’ve still got some filming to do!
I think it’ll be late this year or early next year. We might shoot three more days in July, because we have an idea for a really fun little button on the ending, and other than that we’re virtually locked down editorially, so it’ll be a matter of getting that new little piece together.
Wasn’t this thing supposed to be finished a while ago? Oh Wes. Hopefully Craven can keep his mind focused on 25/8 with all this SCREAM talk going around.
