Some more casting news for you today, regardling Jason Connery’s next project (yeah, he’s Sean Connery’s son.) Right now it’s titled “UNTITLED GEHENNA PROJECT.”
The handful of names joining the fun are Cuba Gooding Jr., Taryn Manning (below), Ron Perlman, Henry Rollins, Valerie Cruz (right), and Ray Winstone. Sounds like great news to me, especially considering the hotties Taryn Manning and Valerie Cruz. Not to mention genre mainstays like Ron Perlman and Henry Rollins. Those two own almost anything they’re in.
Also part of the cast are Jason London, Franky G, Zack Ward, Stephanie Jacobson, Brandon Fobbs, Bill Moseley, and Sarah Ann Morris. As stated, the flick is being directed by Jason Connery. Keith Kjornes is writing the script with Sid Sheinberg, Jon Sheinberg, Bill Sheinberg, and Steve Harris all producing.
The movie centers on an elite group of soldiers (Gooding, Manning, London, Franky G, Ward, Jacobson and Fobbs) sent on a covert mission by a government agent (Cruz) to retrieve a missing scientist (Perlman) from an underground lab.
They encounter a priest (Rollins) who tells them that an “ancient evil” has been released, causing their greatest fears to come to life. Their former leader (Winstone) plays a pivotal role in uncovering what is actually taking place at the facility. Moseley and Morris play members of the compromised research team.
Sounds decent enough. And with a cast like that, how can this one not open eyes? I’ll definately be watching for it.
