It's already been a year since we shared the trailer for director Brandon Slagle's sci-fi action film CROSSBREED, which Slagle has described as "a throwback to action films of the 1980s", and now a very exciting update has come along: Uncork'd Entertainment has announced that they'll be releasing CROSSBREED on VOD on February 5, 2019.

In just one month, we'll have our chance to see what happens when

the President of the New United States of America hires a team of military veterans to retrieve a biological alien weapon from a top secret research facility orbiting the Earth. The mission goes awry when it is revealed that the facility is being maintained by a double agent with allegiance both to the President as well as alien arms dealers. Facing an immeasurable task, team leader Adam “Boss” Ryker must face not only the heavily-armed personnel guarding the facility, but also the alien biological weapon itself.

CROSSBREED stars Daniel Baldwin, Stink Fisher, Vernon Wells, Jason McNeil, John T. Woods, Antoine Linear, and Brandyn T. Williams, with Vivica A. Fox as President Ellen Henricksen and Devanny Pinn as the alien weapon. It reportedly took the FX team 11 hours to turn Pinn into the creature, a process that involved the application of prosthetic makeup and full body latex.

Screen Rant got the exclusive first look at the latest trailer for CROSSBREED, and that is embedded below.
