Prolific indie filmmaker Henrique Couto, whose credits include the features SCAREWAVES, ALONE IN THE GHOST HOUSE, and HAUNTING INSIDE, as well as the holiday shorts CHRISTMAS PRESENCE and SCARY CLOWN, has released a new movie into the world. This one was kept secret until the moment it hit Amazon Prime – even fans who pre-ordered copies through Couto's Storenvy shop didn't know what they were pre-ordering.
All has been revealed now. Titled DEVIL'S TRAIL, Couto's new film was written by Jeremy Blitz and shot in the found footage style. Starring John Hambrick and Couto himself, it tells the following story:
Two reality TV stars are experts at survival, but when they decide to embark upon the legendary home of the Jersey Devil can they survive? Reality TV just got real.
DEVIL'S TRAIL is available for viewing on Amazon Prime, although Prime's restrictions required Couto to blur the nudity in the streaming version of the film. It's also available, uncut, on DVD.
