Flight of the Navigator reboot gets Lucifer showrunner as screenwriter

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

"Hey, blimpo… too many Twinkies."

I'm a big fan of FLIGHT OF THE NAVIGATOR. Maybe you missed out on the film as a child, but I still dig it to this day. In fact, I've even gone so far as to make sure that I've seen it on the big screen.

And I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

So if you're like me and love some time-traveling adventures upon an alien spacecraft then you'll be interested to know that Lionsgate's planned reboot of the film has just found it's new screenwriter, with LUCIFER showrunner Joe Henderson.

I'm strangely excited for a reboot of this property for no other reason than I think the story is one that could be told time and again and still have a solid impact on a new generation of kids. Bring it on.
