20th Century Fox has pressed the Start button on a batch of promotional materials for FREE GUY, an upcoming action adventure comedy starring Ryan Reynolds as Guy, a bank teller who discovers that he's actually an NPC inside a brutal, open-world video game.

Joining Reynolds for the high-concept comedy are Taika Waititi (JOJO RABBIOT, THOR: RAGNAROK), Jodie Comer (KILLING EVE), Joe Keery (STRANGER THINGS), Channing Tatum (21 JUMP STREET, HAIL, CAESAR!) and Utkarsh Ambudkar (PITCH PERFECT, THE SIMPSONS). Directing FREE GUY is STRANGER THINGS co-creator Shawn Levy, who'll be joined by Berlanti Productions’ Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter on producing duties alongside Reynolds’ Maximum Effort, Levy’s 21 Laps, and Adam Kolbrenner.

Fox debuted a new poster for the film this afternoon via their official Twitter account:

In addition to the poster, a video introducing the film's cast was recently shared to Reynolds' personal Instagram account. In the video, it becomes quite obvious that all of the film's stars are eager to work alongside one another, particularly Reynolds and Waititi. In fact, FREE GUY could be viewed as something of a redemption piece for the duo, who in 2011 both contributed to director Martin Campbell's GREEN LANTERN. Yeah, that movie. Woof!
