Exclusive: We talk Close with Noomi Rapace and director Vicky Jewson

In the high-octane thriller CLOSE, Noomi Rapace plays Sam, a counter-terrorism expert whose latest job is a seemingly easy one: looking after wealthy heiress Zoe. But a shocking kidnapping attempt forces Sam and Zoe to go on the run while simultaneously trying to figure out who is after them and why.

With CLOSE ready to hit Netflix (January 18th), I was afforded the opportunity to sit down with Rapace and the film's writer-director Vicky Jewson to talk about how CLOSE came to be, the real-life woman the Rapace character is based on, the importance of a female-driven (and directed) action film and more.
