It's then that a VR wunderkind named Wade Watts finds the first clue and starts a race for the Egg. Of course, Wade isn't the only one who's hoping to uncover the secrets of the Oasis. Along his path Wade encounters an army of vicious combatants who will stop at nothing to get their hands on the prize. Before long, the game turns deadly and Wade must rely on the aid of other players to start a revolution and secure the virtual world for the greater good.
Helmed by legendary director Steven Spielberg, READY PLAYER ONE stars Tye Sheridan as Wade Watts, Olivia Cooke as Smantha Cook, T.J. Miller as i-R0k, Simon Pegg as Ogden Marrow, and Mark Rylance as James Halliday, creator of the Oasis virtual utopia.
