Taika Waititi approves of delightfully 80’s style Thor: Ragnarok trailer

With its colourful atmosphere and buddy comedy dialogue, the upcoming THOR: RAGNAROK is pretty much already tailor-made for a transformation into a delightfully wacky 80's style trailer. The folks at Nerdist gave THOR: RAGNAROK the complete 80's overhaul, complete with VHS static, laughably awful special effects, and a rockin' synth score, in order to imagine a world where the Marvel flick was the most anticipated movie of 1987 instead of 2017. The resulting trailer is a huge amount of fun, and, what's more, THOR: RAGNAROK director Taika Waititi himself seems to be a fan as he shared the trailer on Twitter earlier today. Give it a watch below and get ready to Ragnarok n' roll!
