Back in my day, if you weren't watching MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000 after school, you'd best find yourself another cafeteria table to sit at the following afternoon. I'm not kidding. Most days, talk about what manner of cinematic torture Joel and the robots were made to endure was one of the only ways my friends and I could survive until that final period alarm bell.

Today, we've got something a little strange for you all to enjoy. What if I told you that MST3K went ahead and made a viral spoof video that features the cast sitting down for the opening moments of Netflix's STRANGER THINGS' premiere episode? You'd want to watch that, right? Well, lucky for you we've got the video for your viewing pleasure right here:

Ha ha ha! There are some real solid gags in there. I particularly like the one about "washing all of that fresh air off." I'll tell you, my heart is just bursting at the fact that MST3K is back, and under the guidance of such a capable bunch. Honestly, if you'd told me 10 years ago that the both Felicia Day and Patton Oswalt would one day be overseeing the day-to-day operations concerning the Satellite of Love, I would have never believed you. Now, not only has the show returned, but with a new energy and spirit to boot! Long live terrible movies, forever may they reign!

MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER is streaming on Netflix right now! Be sure to check it out!
