Before JUSTICE LEAGUE unites the super friends movie fans will get a taste of Wonder Woman in her own solo movie this June. We’ve seen tons of footage of Diana (Gal Gadot) slicing and dicing but virtually nothing involving the big baddie, Ares. WB has been avoiding the reveal of him in the trailers, but we now have a somewhat better look at him via the Breaker of Secrets – a Lego set.

Obviously it’s hard to get a read on the look of the guy from this, but at least from this you can concoct some visual. Basically he’s a big hulking dude with a sword and no color scheme. Ares in WOMAN and Steppenwolf in LEAGUE are the two aspects of these DC movies I'm most looking forward to seeing more of, as they will pose massive threats to these god-like heroes. Gotta see if they're worth fearing. Chances are Ares will do some serious damage in the real movie, serving as a worthy foe for Diana before she takes on some Parademons in LEAGUE alongside Batman (Ben Affleck), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher). The only difference is that back in her day Wonder Woman could fight bad guys for a nickel.
WONDER WOMAN arrives with Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Connie Nielsen and David Thewlis on June 2.
