A new month brings a wealth of new Blu-ray and DVD releases, so now's a great time to prepare and see what we have ahead of us in the month of March! You can always head to our BLU-RAY AND DVD RELEASE DATES section for a more complete list, but in this column we'll go over some of the more popular titles hitting shelves over the next 4 weeks!

March 7

First up in our list of Blu-ray releases is Disney's Oscar-nominated musical, MOANA. With contributions from Lin-Manuel Miranda, the soundtrack is sure to stay in mind well after the end credits! You can also check out one of the best performances of the year courtesy of Natalie Portman in JACKIE, and then wonder how the hell Emma Stone was even considered for LA LA LAND! I jest! Let's move on to week 2!

March 14

PASSENGERS turned out to be one of the bigger disappointments in cinema this past year, but is sure to find it's home on Blu-ray. Meanwhile, you can check out what many are saying was the best Oscar-nominated performance in the male category with Denzel Washington in FENCES. One of the more overlooked titles of the year, ELLE, also finds its way home on Blu, just in case you were wondering what director Paul Verhoeven has been up to!

March 21

Illumination Entertainment delivers another commercially successful film with SING, of which you can partake in Blu-ray, 3D and 4K! In case you need something that packs a little more punch, Michael Fassbender's latest, ASSASSIN'S CREED, also arrives on the same formats. You can also check out Jessica Chastain in her element with the legal drama, SLOANE.

March 28

The last week of March rounds up some of the latest and greatest, starting with the crowd-pleasing Harry Potter spinoff, FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM. If you have any interest in the Potter franchise thus far and have NOT checked out FANTASTIC BEASTS, I think you're in for a welcome surprise! We also have Peter Berg's latest featuring Mark Wahlberg in the hard hitting drama, PATRIOTS DAY. Martin Scorsese's cinematic take on Jesuit priests, SILENCE, also arrives. Perhaps that long run-time won't feel so bad at home, eh? There's also the movie that's known to make grown men cry, A MONSTER CALLS, as well as Mike Mills' new feature, 20TH CENTURY WOMEN. Let us know which movies you plan on picking up and we'll see you all back here next month for What's New on Blu-ray/DVD!
