Dean Cain returns to CW’s Supergirl!

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

So Dean Cain, best known as Superman in the campy (but fun) series LOIS AND CLARK, will be returning to CW's SUPERGIRL. Cain had previously guest-starred on the show as Jeremiah Danvers, father of Kara (Supergirl's alter-ego), who apparently died trying to save Martian Manhunter's life. Well, since this is a TV show based on superheroes, he didn't die. Cain joins the previously announced Teri Hatcher (who starred alongside him as the titular "Lois"), guest-starring later in the season in an unspecified role.

Anyway, here's a trailer for the new episode:

And here's the plot synopsis:

When Jeremiah Danvers (guest star Dean Cain) is rescued from Cadmus, Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Kara (Melissa Benoist) are thrilled to have their father back. The Danvers arrange a family dinner to celebrate but things go awry when a suspicious Mon-El (Chris Wood) starts to question Jeremiah about his sudden return.

The episode, "Homecoming" will premiere on the CW February 27th, 2017 8/7 CT.
