Generally we only hear about how much this superstar actor or that famous director makes on any given film, but what about the director’s assistant? Best boy? Costume designer? Vanity Fair has put together a credit reel for a hypothetical Hollywood blockbuster using the budgets of 2 actual $200 million blockbuster movies as a references. The video excludes non-human costs, and reflects an approximation of the take home pay of all humans involved, based on average union rates. Obviously some roles, such as writers, directors and actors, are open to fluctuation, but it’s a fascinating look nevertheless!
