Taron Egerton teases the return of a popular character for Kingsman 2

KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE will follow Eggsy (Taron Egerton) and Merlin (Mark Strong) as they head to the United States following the destruction of the Kingsman headquarters, presumably on the order of Julianne Moore's villainous Poppy. There they work with the U.S. version of their spy organization, The Statesman, as led by Halle Berry's Ginger and a swaggering, sharpshooting cowboy named Jack. There's no arguing that one of the best aspects of the original film was Colin Firth's Harry, and if you were hoping he would appear in some form or fashion, you may be right! Taron Egerton recently released the following teaser poster on his Twitter account.

What say you? Do you think Colin Firth's character is alive and well, or can be revived? Or perhaps he's left some breadcrumbs for Eggsy in hopes that he would uncover something? Either way, I think Harry will still have a presence in the KINGSMAN sequel, even if it's only to pop up occasionally in mention. And if they find a way to actually bring his character back that doesn't feel phony, then I say bring it!

KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE will hit theaters on June 16, 2017.
