Latest Spectre Vlog documents the making of a musical train wreck

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

In case you needed the point hammered home that Sam Smith's Writing's on the Wall is a song (I guess), the latest SPECTRE video blog does exactly that! Check out some of the recording process in regards to the music and the video, and witness interviews with Sam Smith, director Sam Mendes, and producer Barbara Broccoli where they just flat out lie to our faces about how much they love this song!

I know that I'm being pretty hard on SPECTRE's theme song, but that's only because I hate it. Still, the song is hardly representative of the film as a whole, so I'm not going to let Sam Smith ruin my (hopeful) enjoyment of Mendes' follow-up to SKYFALL. Hell, if I can stomach Jack White's mess, I can tune this out!

If you can drag yourself away from watching the new STAR WARS trailer, SPECTRE opens in theaters on November 6, 2015.
