Check out a clip & cool concept art for the Pixar short Sanjay’s Super Team

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

With Pixar’s latest, THE GOOD DINOSAUR, hitting theaters in a month from now, we’ll also be getting a brand new Pixar short. Enter SANJAY’S SUPER TEAM! Representing animator Sanjay Patel’s (TOY STORY 3, THE INCREDIBLES) directorial debut, the story looks to revolve around a father and son and the deities that they hold near and dear. Check out a unique blend of 2D and 3D animation styles in this short clip, along with some cool concept art further below!

At this point it’s commonplace for Disney and Pixar to screen short films before their main features, but it’s a I trend that I’ve really come to love. Audience members are there for the main feature but the short serves as a welcome appetizer, and in some cases, even bests the feature it precedes. THE GOOD DINOSAUR has had its share of production problems, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the case with SANJAY’S SUPER TEAM.

SANJAY’S SUPER TEAM will screen in front of THE GOOD DINOSAUR, which opens on November 25, 2015.
