Cool Videos: Everything wrong with the Batman V Superman Comic Con trailer

Last Updated on February 3, 2026

Judging by your comments, the reaction to the new BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE trailer is predominantly positive. Still, it wouldn’t be the Internet if we didn’t nitpick the living hell out of everything that markets or leads up to a major event film. With that said, I present the latest CinemaSins video that counts everything wrong with the Comic Con trailer.

Per usual, some of these CinemaSins videos can be overly literal or specific, but a lot of what they call out here mimics what I have heard or read over the last week since the trailer debuted. I don’t agree with all of it but I do support the idea that even if there are glaring holes in the logic of the movie, the sheer fact we will be seeing Superman and Batman share the big screen is enough to offset those minor concerns.

Those who dislike Zack Snyder‘s take on DC’s elite superheroes are not going to change their minds when it comes to this movie, but I hope everyone else gives it a shot. I, personally, loved this new trailer and cannot wait to see what comes next.

BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE hits theaters on March 25, 2016.
