I've been a big fan of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler since their Saturday Night Live days, and while I wasn't sold on the trailers for their last big screen collaboration BABY MAMA, I was pleased to discover it was actually a decent comedy. The duo have teamed up again for the upcoming comedy SISTERS, and just like their last movie project together, the first trailer isn't doing much for me.

The film comes from PITCH PERFECT director Jason Moore, which follows two sisters, who decide to throw one last party at their childhood home after they find out their pants have decided to sell the house. SISTERS also stars Samantha Bee, John Leguizamo, James Brolin and John Cena, and fellow SNL alums Maya Rudolph and Rachel Dratch. I smiled a couple of times while watching this first trailer, but that was about it, and I'm hopeful that the movie will be much better than the trailer makes it out to be.

SISTERS will face off against STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS when it opens on December 8, 2015.
