If there's one recently released movie that absolutely deserves a 1980s style trailer, it's George Miller's MAD MAX: FURY ROAD, and the fine folks over at Playback Collective have done just that. Featuring the song "Vengeance" by the Australian electronic/synthwave band Power Glove, the trailer isn't as amazeballs as the official ones for Miller's masterpiece (seriously, the MAD MAX: FURY ROAD marketing team deserves all the awards), but it's still a fun 80s take on the critically acclaimed film.
MAD MAX: FURY ROAD is now at $280 million worldwide, and with any luck (and a few more strong weeks at the box office), Playback Collective will be back with a 1980s trailer treatment for the sequel.
Definitely not mediocre!
