It's almost that time for Guillermo del Toro (PACIFIC RIM, PAN’S LABYRINTH) to open up his mind and let the audience walk around in it for a couple of hours, as his latest film, CRIMSON PEAK, now has a trailer! The story takes place in the aftermath of a family tragedy, as an aspiring author is torn between the love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider. Trying to escape the ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes, bleeds, and remembers. The film sports an all-star cast featuring the likes of Mia Wasikowska, Tom Hiddleston, Jessica Chastain, and Charlie Hunnam, and you can check out the madness below!

As always, Guillermo del Toro's sense of design regarding his sets and (what little we did see of) his creatures is in top form. I'm definitely getting a DEVIL'S BACKBONE vibe with this one.  While this is a smaller picture compared to the likes of PACIFIC RIM, there's no doubts that any of del Toro's films demand a theater experience.  Who else is itching to spend some time in that gorgeously creepy house? Is it October yet?!?

CRIMSON PEAK will be released on October 16, 2015.
